Later this month Camvac will be returning to Packaging Innovations to exhibit on Stand F47.
Packaging Innovations is the UK’s leading packaging event for the entire supply chain. Taking place at the NEC, Birmingham, the 2-day event showcases the vast packaging supply chain under one roof, across five different shows; Packaging Innovations, Ecopack, Econtract Pack & Fulfilment, Empack, Label & Print and Industrial Pack.
Exhibiting on Stand F47, we’ll be showcasing our entire sustainable range under the Camvert brand, sustainable answers in the fight to reduce plastic packaging. Including our proven range of metallised films, clear barrier films and laminates for the two-day show.
Over the last year we have been developing and launching numerous new sustainable films and packaging solutions under the Camvert brand. Our Cambrite Camvert film is officially being launched at Packaging Innovations and is one of our key sustainable films. Cambrite Camvert is a film which is certified home compostable and is ideal for packaging applications within the luxury beauty and fragrance markets. It’s also been chosen to feature in the shows ‘Innovation Gallery’!
Alongside the launch of our Cambrite Camvert film, Camvac will be showcasing our Camfresh Compostable Lidding Film at the show. Camfresh Compostable Lidding film is available for several applications including fresh food packaging, confectionery and snacks. Developed in-house, the eco-friendly lidding film has been manufactured to provide a high clarity, modified atmosphere to increase product shelf-life. Certified compostable, the film is heat sealable and available in peel and non-peel options.
Key product highlights for Camvac this year is the official launch of our Cambrite Camvert film, recyclable lidding film Extrapet and our compostable lidding film Camfresh.
Cambrite Camvert
Cambrite Camvert is a fully biodegradable and home compostable decorative metallised acetate film. Cambrite has been developed to be a premium solution for brands who are looking for a fully biodegradable and home compostable decorative metallised film. The metallised film can be used for a range of applications including luxury brand decorative cartons, board lamination, point of sale display items and packaging labels. The film is certified to EN13432, ASTM D6400 and Vincotte.
Extrapet
Our transparent, all polyester, barrier laminate. For a wide range of processed meats, fresh meats, poultry, pastas, vegetables and bakery, where presentation and fresh appearance is critical, Extrapet provides a variety of environmentally friendly solutions in peel and non-peel, anti-fog and high barrier options.
As a direct result of Extrapet being an all PET (mono material) structure, the potential of total recyclability, where post-consumer collection infrastructure exist, is possible. Extrapet can also include the benefit of recycled content within the manufacture. During the manufacturing process, Extrapet uses Camvac’s AlOx coated transparent barrier film Camclear.
Camfresh
Launched towards the end of 2019, Camfresh is available as part of our sustainable range Camvert. Camfresh Camvert is an environmentally friendly transparent barrier laminate for the fresh food packaging industry. The growing market for packaged fresh food, driven by the consumer demands of preference and choice, has resulted in the development of Camfresh Camvert in high and standard barrier versions.
For a wide range of processed meats, fresh meats, poultry, pastas, vegetable and bakery, where presentation and fresh appearance is critical, Camfresh provides a variety of solutions in peel and non-peel, anti-fog and tailored barrier options which are available in recyclable options.
Camfresh laminates use Camvac’s AlOx coated transparent barrier film – Camclear.
